What’s on Your Workdesk? Wednesday #302

Wednesday again?

I’ve missed how many?

Where have I BEEN??

What’s on my desk today? Nada.

Well actually I’ve been on holiday, I helped my daughter move and now mum is in hospital so part fun, part family – you know how it goes!! With one thing and another I haven’t been to work for nearly a month so its not all bad!! But here is what I have been up to lately, just not today.IMG_1689[1]

On holiday I did take some needlefelting to do – well it is a fairly portable craft (not in the cabin of course!!). I managed three of these ‘cones’. They are going to be mice, honest.

One day soon.

And here are some photos of the dimensional box cards I made with all those flowers I showed you – seems like months ago!! Similar to the stamped card below which is why I couldn’t show you the finished item before but these were all done with with my scan n cut, even the box. Love ‘em.

So hope you don’t mind me sharing this old stuff,

Trying to grab an hours R&R before going back to the hospital for mummy watch. Going to take my needlefelting with me to do as mum wants me to make something for her. (see, portable crafting!!). She did say yesterday she would like to give it a go – if you knew how much she shakes poor love you would realise why the vision of her with a needlefelt needle gave me the giggles!!

Catch up with you all later. Oh and if you are wondering who I am talking to, you can find the WOYWW mob over here. Join in why don’t you!!

PS I'm thinking of our fellow desk hopper Shoshi today who's operation has been postponed yet again! I can't imagine how she must be feeling.

HOLY COWABUNGA!!!! Those cards in a box are the bestest I've ever seen. They are so wonderful and dimensional. Now I see why you couldn't share earlier. Hope life calms down some for you so you can come back and make things just as fab as these cards. Judy #64

Being the very proud recipient of one of these fabulous box cards, Cindy, I can vouch for how gorgeous they are in the flesh! So beautiful. Thank you for your lovely supportive message while I was in hospital, and yes, Nursie Bear did her stuff, not only looking after me as her own special personal patient, but keeping all the nurses on the ward in order too - they all loved her!! I am so thrilled to be home at last, and my convalescence is going well, and my hubby and I are learning to adjust to my "new normal" with the stoma. Lots of marvellous messages from so many friends awaiting a reply - it's taking quite a while to do it! After that I am hoping to update both my blogs with news of what has been going on with me.

Shoshi x
