What's On Your Workdesk? Wednesday #694

Good morning deskers. Finally back in the UK late Sunday evening after a lovely break in Benalmadena.  We ended up staying 2 more days due to French ATC striking. Rather than be stranded at an airport hotel for two days we moved to an apartment in Torremolinos for 2 nights as we had to vacate our villa. Actually got 2 1/2 days as we didn't have to leave this one unil time for our late flight. A little bit stressful, compounded by my phone refusing to connect to mobile data. So no app, no messages, no info......... Thank goodness for airbnb. And breathe......

Monday, of course, was the funeral, and I accomplished very little. By Tuesday I was feeling serious craft withdrawal (it's been 2 weeks!!) so for some reason started playing with a NBU skate die. Here is the proof on the desk.

The intention today - in between desking of course - is to finish making up these cards, tidy up and then sort all my card boxes out ready for my Macmillan Coffee morning this Saturday. My sister is coming over to help (or at least keep me focussed). I know quite a lot of cards haven't been bagged and priced so hopefully we'll crack through that as well as having a catch up.

So, why am I showing you my desk? Well it's our weekly Wednesday Blog Hop - WOYWW. Here's the link to the one responsible, the lovely Julia at Stamping Ground - pop on over and join in, see what it's all about and have a go yourself.

Have a good week, love n hugs Cindy xx

Hi Cindy, you lucky lady Benalmadena! It is a very long time since we were there but we loved it. Bet you're pleased to be home though. You have certainly been busy since you got back looking at your desk. Wishing you a very happy and creative woyww, Angela x9x

Welcome back! Love Benalmadena and Torremolinos, that whole stretch of coastal towns are lovely. Can 8magine the stress of hav8ng to find alternative accommodation though, ugh. And get you, responding t9 the need to craft with some fab Christmas cards. Gracious you are on it. If that# what holidays do, I think I need another one!

I hope it was not too stressful having to find alternative accommodation and that you had lots of help in getting somewhere. A couple of extra days sounds lovely util you think of the stress behind it. However, hope your holiday was worth it all.
It's lovely to get away to a bit of sunshine, especially at the end of summer at home, but it's always nice to get back, especially when you are a crafter.
Can't believe `I~ am going to meet up with you soon.
Hugs, Neet 3 xx

Must be a relief to have the funeral behind you. A holiday would be lovely, and a forced few extra days could be great, but not if you have places to be. I was imagining all the French Artists Trading Cards going on strike, and wondering what that might look like LOL! Love the skate die - DD loves her skating for sure, so that would be a handy one.

Happy WOYWW, catching up!
