Wnat's On Your Workdesk? Wednesday #845

Morning deskers, welcome to our weekly Wednesday Blog Hop WOYWW,  now being hosted on Sarah Brennan's blog. Here's the link for that lovely lady - Sarah's Craft Shed - pop on over and join in, see what it's all about and join in yourself.

Had Lionel for Thursday and Friday last week with a lovely Nonna stopover (only drawback is the waking up at 6 o'clock!!). It was a friend's birthday on Saturday so a bunch of us went over for afternoon tea and later on to the pub. Long day, I was knackered so quiet Sunday and Monday though we did manage to order a sofa at long last - looks like the downstairs reno will be finished in under a year - just!!

I actually had three orders come in for bespoke cards this last week and I turned them all down. Hope you are proud of me MaryAnne!!

Not much crafting getting done but I did get given a pile of stuff from someone who has given up crafting so it was fun to go through that and decide if I want  need any of it. Doubtful, but I've kept a few bits and trying to get rid of the rest at my  various craft groups. Here's a photo of my desk at Craft Club on Tuesday, I got 4 cards made up from my bits n bobs folder.

I have a friend over to craft today so cleared the decks yesterday and pulled out the projects we were working on last time she was here, It's gonna be pretty warm in my craft room though!! As a consequence I'll be late getting round -  and Lionel again tomorrow.

Have a good week, Love n hugs Cindy xx #

Hooray for a crisis free time with Splodge! I’m proud of you for saying No to the commissions, I’m getting better at that as well, woohoo! The cards made me smile, especially the giraffe! Hope you have a great week xx

Nice selection of cards. Exciting news that the renovation is nearly done. Woo hoo! Bet you are excited. I am sick of waking with the dawn, frankly, but no matter the time of sunrise I am up way sooner than I wish. Oh for a decent 8-hour sleep. What I wouldn't give... Happy WOYWW!

I bet you're having a great time despite the heat, nothing better than playing with a friend. Sometimes you have to say no to making things for others, it's just too much. Pleased to hear the downstairs should be completed soon. Happy woyww. Hugs Angela x8x

I've just caught up with your posts and read of your very traumatic experience with Lionel! What a boy! They have no fear at that age. Glad to hear you're both back on good terms again. And good for you turning down the unwanted commissions. I'm sure working on projects with your friend are very much more satisfying. Have a great week. Elizabeth x #14

Glad that Lionel is out of the dog house and the latest visit was crisis free Cindy. Well done for saying no to commissions if you are too busy! Getting in visits before heading off down to Ditton, Kent for the Clarity retreats. Have a great week. Stay safe and Happy belated WOYWW. Sarah.
