What’s On Your Workdesk? Wednesday #284

IMG_1555[1]
No I haven’t gone all zen, This is the space where my bestie sits when she comes over for cardmaking 101 like she did last night. I do  tidy it up before she comes and so when she goes it’s empty.
Before I went to bed last night I sat and started a little paper piecing for some box cards I want to finish today.
Well I hope everyone is set up for a nice Wednesday. It’s mum’s 82nd birthday and I am going to go over and see her later. There might be a trip to a craft shop involved ……we’ve already had a tea and cake afternoon (yum) and have Sunday lunch planned for all at the weekend.

Can you guess what these are going to be?

I think they are.....Hippos!!! Can't wait to see if I'm right! Your space looks very tidy and organised, Cindy. I miss going to the craft shop which closed a while back... I try to get to craft shows when I can, but otherwise all my stash comes from online.

Thanks for your lovely comment, and I will get to grips with the sewing machine eventually. I have a Cougar electronic cutting machine and it hasn't been used for over a year, so it will be the learning curve all over again once I get going with it. Well worth it though. Glad to hear you're also an afternoon tea fan, and that you like my Scottish pages! We had the best afternoon teas ever, north of the border!

Happy WOYWW,

Thanks for the lovely visit and the lovely comment you left. Yes, the size of the scraps is never right, well almost never.

Happy B-day to your Mum.

I do wish I had somebody to come and play with me.....but then where would they sit in this room? Just as well I have Blogland to wonder through and Bloggers to play with.....grin

My guess would be oenguins too.

My guess would be penguins. Two for the price of one - having a friend over to play, and being left with a lovely clear desk - result! Hope your Mum really enjoys her birthday - have a lovely time together, and a great week. Chris # 7

Mmm... Could they be paw prints? or the silhouette of a white cat? OK, they probably are penguins as it's Christmas card time.Looking forward to hearing what they really are.
I hope you had a lovely day with your mum. Tell us what you did/bought next time please.
Thanks for letting me look over your shoulder,
Have a good week,
Sorry I'm late but I take my time going through them all. (I enjoy reading all the blogs and look at the photos)
