WOYWW - What’s On Your Workdesk, Wednesday #356

Morning Woywwers! Me again. Seems like there is always a reason for not joining in but I’m gonna try today because I really miss feeling part of this lovely community.

My desk is here, with an array of little watering can shaped cards. The little castle card is a commission and the pile of cards – well…….

I was challenged at the weekend to make 20 cards over the long weekend and despite some gardening, DS’s 22nd birthday celebrations and a big family lunch on Sunday I made my quota by the skin of my teeth (and by the time honoured technique of doing the same thing again and again and shameless plagiarising on Pinterest).

Putting everything in cello bags, photographing them and pricing up those that are going for sale is another matter however and took me most of Tuesday evening when I finally got in the craft room (sorry OH, I know I said I was coming back down ‘in a minute….’).For anyone who has the time, here’s a few individual photos of the ones in the pile.

Today I am mainly going to be thinking about making a card with a trumpet on it. Mmmmm.

Wondering what WOYWW is? Popover HERE to find out.

Happy Wednesday!!

Brilliant, Cindy. Well done you. Filling that challenge, getting everything else done - and still having a really good Easter break.
Take care. God bless.

Hi Cindy, haven't you been busy, I love the watering can idea, I just might have to plagiarise that one myself for a gardener friend. I've also been working on a pink castle for a little six year old, although I don't like pandering to girls' pink obsessions, when it comes to birthday cards, princess and pink do make life easy.
I also tell OH 'I'll be down in a minute' and that minute stretches into several, v.e.r..y.. l..o..n..g.. o..n..e..s!.
Thanks for sharing

Absolutely gorgeous cards and what an accomplishment to make 20 of them in such a short period of time. I really like the watering cans too! I laughed when you said you didn't make it downstairs - happens to me all the time. Drives my hubby crazy! Thanks for visiting earlier! zsuzsa #26

I can barely make a card in a morning! Love that you took up the challenge! The watering can shapes are sweet..perfect for this time of year. I agree about the bagging and pricing..a real chore!

Hee hee--the time honored tradition of shamelessly copying from Pinterest. Amen, sister! I am terribly impressed though and wish I could get such a spree out of myself as well. Those are some great looking cards! PJ #54

Ha! I know all about that 'just one minute', but it's not our fault. It's a well known scientific fact that the space time continuum is warped inside craft rooms...
Gorgeous cards, I love the watering can ones but understand the boring bit of bagging and tagging....that's like sewing up knitting for me. YAWN...... 😊

Thanks for stopping by Cindy. The big batch of cards look lovely, I hope they sell well. I really like that special sandcastle one you made. I pushed on through with the tidying yesterday, but have had a bad night with one of the children ill, so it might be light duties today.

DD has an application form to help at this year's reading challenge, are you still in the library business?
