WOYWW- What’s On Your Workdesk? Wednesday #

MIA a few weeks again – doesn’t matter how fast I run I can’t catch up – I have to say it again, however did I work and run a business?
IMG_2137
My desk today doesn’t have much on it. A camera and an iphone mainly. Because today I have to try and extract my photos from last weekend’s trip to VENICE. It was awesome, a beautiful crazy place, I’m still floating (ha ha). I’ll upload some of the better ones later once I have managed this extremely tedious exercise (Me, the computer, the camera, the phone and the cloud just can’t seem to learn to play nice. I would really like to learn how to do it all with the click of a button like other people seem to be able to do but don’t think it’s ever gonna happen – as I write I’m actually still waiting for the photo of the desk to become available - an hour after I took it ……..oh well, it’ll turn up eventually or you’ll never get to read this). And I wonder why I don’t blog any more….
Why am I showing you this? Pop over here to read all about it.
Next week will be a special anniversary for WOYWWers and I shall be here, touting my ATC swaps so please let me know if you are interested in a trade and we can do some of the addressy admin in advance. Note to self: Better start loading my photo the night before………………
IMG_1345                  Ooh, one of my venice photos turned up too…..  this one was taken from the top of the bell tower in San Mark's square. Intriguing fact - you cannot see any canals from up there, not even the Grand Canal.

                      Happy Wednesday!!

Well, your Venice info is extremely interesting and one to file away for a future pub quiz! I've never been to Venice, though have travelled in Italy, it's on my bucket list!
You made me laugh cos I haven't worked for two years and I can't work out how I fitted in everything either!
Thanks for the support today 😃💖
Hugs, LLJ xxxx

A weekend in Venice, Cindy... lucky you. Glad you enjoyed it so much. I know what you mean about fitting everything in... I always seem to be on catch-up - I'm retired, spend vast numbers of hours in the house because of caring fulltime for my hubby - and STILL miss important birthdays, anniversaries... Oh well... can't do anything about it.
Lovely photos when they finally arrived for you to use.
Take care. God bless.

Venice must have been fantastic! I'm glad you managed to extract at least one of the photos LOL! I use my camera almost every day - it's a just a matter taking out the SD card and putting it into the computer. Your set-up must be very complicated! Hope you'll manage to crack it in the end! Happy Wednesday! zsuzsa #37

Hi Cindy, I have to admit that I would love to visit Venice, so much history and architecture. It will have to wait till I'm fitter though. I'd want to be able to go and see everything. Have a great week, Hugs, Shaz #2 xxx

HI Cindy, GASP! Venice, how wonderful!! hehe know what you mean about the whole photo/cloud business - it's great when it works, but often I find myself completely befuddled by it! That photo you've shown here is beautiful though, it must have been a great feeling to actually be there :o) Annie #27

Hi Cindy, glad you enjoyed Venice. I find that "photo transfer " is a brilliant app for getting the photos from iPhone to computer without wires!
Good luck with all the transferring...

Hi Cindy!
WOW! Venice is so beautiful. I went there when I was around 20 years old.
Oh gosh... 30 years ago now. Time flies.
Hope you had a wonderful time there.

I´d love to make a trade with you.
I haven´t been online for long so I wonder about the rules for next weeks
anniversary trade. Do you mind telling me how to participate?

Have a fun WOYWW tour.

Oooh Cindy, VENICE!! How exciting. It's somewhere I'd love to visit one day but can't see it happening in the foreseeable future. It is an extraordinary place. I am so looking forward to seeing your photos once you manage to get them sorted! Sorry to hear you have such an ongoing battle getting your technology to play ball. I simply love downloading and editing my photos and blogging them. These days I am trying to integrate Windows and Mac and it seemed impossible until I discovered the cloud!!

Thank you for your lovely comment. The reason the card was left to the last minute was that I was so busy with other stuff and then too tired to do any studio time. I did manage it in the end and he's very pleased with it. As for Phoebe, we are still very relieved that our worst fears didn't materialise and that she was safe and sound after all!

Happy belated WOYWW,
