What's on Your workdesk Wednesday # 177

It's Wednesday again, and time for our weekly deskhop courtesy of our illustrious leader the lovely Julia of Stamping Ground. Pop on over there to find out all about it and join in!!I've been playing and the main desk is just a pile of bits and bobs but as I have actually been being productive I thought this week I'd show you my other two desk areas (one of which is cunningly disguised as a chair)

So voila some cards. Had my dylusions inks out to make some backgrounds though most of these I think are from the papers I put in my spray box when I'm having a bit of a spritz. Wanted a few simple but 'arty farty' cards for my Macmillan coffee morning (eek, it's next week!!), makes a change from teddy bears and flowers.

Kept them quite simple, but the backgrounds are quite lush. mmmmmm

And also been making tags, again playing with the dylusions and those Lynn Perella stamps.

Not sure where these are going but it's good to play!

So that's it for this week, I am home this Wednesday so should make my rounds in good time. Thank you to my new followers - I have noticed and will be round to visit those with blogs as well.

Happy WOYWW everyone!!

I love what you've done this week, Cindy. It will be a refreshing change to see some cards on the sale table that are not cutesy, and I hope they all sell like hot cakes! Gorgeous colours. Great idea, isn't it, to make backgrounds as a by-product of spraying things with Dylusions! When I'm spraying flower pieces or butterflies, they act as masks, and I move them around to get a layering effect on the background. Those inks are just "to dy for" lol!!

Thanks for your visit, and your lovely comment, and so glad you like my "tyger" - yes, I saw white ones years ago at a zoo, and thought they were stunning. I've always adored tigers. So magnificent, untamed... definitely framed with "fearful symmetry." Our gentle, soft, home-loving kitties love them too, I suspect, and aspire to become tigers, especially when out hunting and then bringing home the spoils!

Happy WOYWW,

Hi Cindy

Thanks for coming over and visiting my desk. I've come here and got a pleasant surprise! No messy desks here - just wonderful, colourful art. Love what you have done - fabulous cards. I've just had a look at some of your other stuff too and love your Timmy tags - especially those where you blew the inks using your high tech equipment (curly straw)!

Some really colourful and vibrant stuff... good luck with the Macmillan coffee morning - a really worthy cause.

all the best

Loving the contrast in the colours of the Dylusions you’ve used Cindy. From the bright, in your face colours on the tags to the more muted shades on your cards, they are all absolutely stunning.

Thanks for stopping by this week.

Happy Crafting!
