What’s on Your Workdesk? Wednesday #252

HERE is a 'how to' join in WOYWW,everyone is welcome.  Here is an explanation of the WOYWW madness.  And HERE is how we're going to mark the fifth anniversary of ourselves, the week after some of us get together for the WOYWW Crop.

All lifted from Julia’s blog. so much easier than doing all those links myself. GRIN.

Here’s my desk. Shooting into the window doesn’t make for the best desk shot – it’s a nice day out there and there is a bit of glare.

I was busy last night prepping some cards for my friend to make when she comes round this evening. She had some bad health news last week and I suspect her mojo might be on walkabout. She always prefers to work from a recipe anyway. We decided on a cupcake theme last time I saw her and I have used some papers I got free at the Birmingham Hobbycraft show last year to knock up a few samples. Other than that, not much to report, have had visitors so not really been in my lovely room much the last couple of days. I do however have a  long list of crafty things to do, so must crack on!!

Happy WOYWW!!

Isn't it lovely to see the sunshine again (even if it does make for tricky desk photography!) Hope you have a lovely evening with your friend.

Oh, it would be fun to join up with you ladies for the Woyww crop, but don't think I'm up for such a long swim! :-)

Thanks for stopping by my blog earlier and for the nice comments.

I appreciate the shot of the window with its happy sun and so much greenery. It looks like lots of fun crafty things are happening in your neck of the grass this week. Have fun with your friend. I didn't WOYWW today. I don't have the energy for it but thought I'd bog hop a bit.

Glare...glare Cindy...what's that? ;D
I can see so sunshine and shadow in your photo and after 5 days of 7 degrees and grey it looks wonderful.
I can imagine you'll have many happy hours creating at that desk.
Enjoy the crop...have fun!

Hi Cindy, thanks for stopping by at mine and your comments. I have enjoyed using the papers, they are good quality and the pad has a good range of paper and stickers. Hope you and your friend have a lovely evening.

Hello Cindy - what a lovely thought - a play date with your friend as she struggles with her health issues. Well done you.
Thanks for visiting - yes, the dress is only a mock up of the real thing - it will eventually be a wedding dress - but not in dark green. Struggling somewhat as there is no pattern available, so, in true "British sewing bee" tradition, I'm making it up as I go along!!
Take care - and I trust you have a great time with your friend.

Noticing the lovely view you have from your work desk. I think I would find myself looking out the window as much as creating. The idea of helping out your friend is so wonderful. I hope you both had fun. Your work desk looks so busy. Thank you so much for stopping by. Diane #69
