What's On Your Workdesk? Wednesday # 569

It has to be said - It's Wednesday AGAIN?

Morning all, hope you are all well and surviving safe at home. Looks to be a reasonable day here in London, cloudy but bright at the mo. We are all doing fine, not in much of a routine just taking each day as it comes.

Here is my desk this week, ever so slightly staged.

I have decided I really must crack on with those WIP boxes this week. I feel like I'm producing loads but not making much of a dent in it. Big box to right is WIP box no 1. Basket to left and cards on table the fruits of my labour. There are more, they have gone away already. Front right, happy mail and my reward. Yes I cracked and bought a couple of things....

I still have at least 3 more WIP boxes. By the end of today I may have to do some judicious re-arrangement so I can say I have finished the first one. I may be only fooling myself but it will help my motivation. I seriously thought I could whip this into shape in a couple of weeks. Talk about underestimating the size of the problem!!

And I've still got wedding invites to finish.....

Why am I telling you this? Because it's WOYW Wednesday, the day when we go for a wander around the desks of the great and the good courtesy of the lovely Julia at Stamping Ground. Pop on over and join in why don't ya?

That's all from me, stay home, stay safe, stay well. Happy desking!!

It's like Groundhog isn't ti? It's how I remember which day of the week it is! Love the WiP boxes, you're doing well getting through those. I'm enjoying making the scrubs bags, my menfolk are helping which is speeding things up a lot.
I'm glad you're keeping well and happy - stay safe

A great time for getting through those WIPs - I wish I was as focussed. I am a bit of a butterfly and like to flit from one activity to another - this week I am making isolation gowns - lol - all good fun. Take care and stay safe. xx Jo

Hi Cindy. What a wonderfully cheering post! Had me in tucks of laughter. I really like your style - judicious sorting! I love it!! Well done on working through your WIPs - I haven't really started on mine yet - keep thinking of other things to do... You have mad impressive ways into your boxes - and definitely deserved that reward.
Thanks for your visit - and being so polite and not mentioning that my post this morning is in a muddle. I'm afraid word press wasn't playing properly today - even when I went back and tried to edit the thing!!
Take care. Stay safe. God bless.

Oh Vindy, I’ve just said to Kyla...I’ve made stacks of cards using up scraps for mats and die cuts, and my scrap box is still overflowing...am beginning to think the WIPs are going to behave the same way! Therefore don’t blame yourself, just plod on!

Hi Cindy, I think Jan summed it up perfectly it's definitely gives us that groundhog feeling. Those WIPS are a never ending thought in my crafty mind, there's not many areas left untouched by something that needs finishing inside and out but it sure does keep us busy.
Love those Lisa Horton stamps, I was tempted but.... thought the better of it!
Enjoy your creative time you've treated us with a fabulous selection of completes, thanks for sharing WOYWW stay safe & creative Tracey #14

I really must make some cards! Really am behind on the card making front, so far behind that I think my WIP boxes can stay as they are for a while yet, I have new things to pursue and would love to do a mixed media canvas that is in my head. Why do I seem to have less time now than I did before - there are no more demands on me, life hasn't changed really.
I like the thought of you re-jigging so that your brain is fooled into thinking you have made lots of progress, sounds just like me. Still it could work.
Thanks for showing your work on #Cheers, not only does it cheer FB up a b;it it gives us all a chance to share all the lovely things you do. No idea why I am so late in posting comments this week - I seem to be really losing time.
Take care Cindy
Hugs, Neet 8 xx

You are producing lots of beautiful cards from your WIP box, Cindy. I am mostly working on new stuff these days despite my resolution to get on top of my ever-growing collection of UFOs!

Happy belated WOYWW,

Fair play for tackling the WIP! I just spotted Julia's update about what we can do for the 11th WOYWW anniversary-tackle a UFO!!!! I will have to choose wisely which one of the many I appear to have spread across various boxes too!!
