A BIRTHDAY CARD ….

IMG_1056[1] Using up old stash for another birthday card.

I bought these little Kanban dresses with acetate overlays over a year ago because I though they were so pretty but, like many things in my stash, I need to use them up before they get lost or ruined.

I was not particularly fond of the frame that came with the pack as the colour doesn’t match that well, but decided to matt with a similar blue and mount on some Craftwork Cards ‘Correspondence’ papers. I used a touch of watercolour on the roses to make them a little more pinky/red and added a deep maroon ribbon. Used the rest of the paper to finish off the inside. I know just who this is for, and it’s going in the post today – cleverly that acetate overlay folds flat for posting.

See ya!

Beautiful card Cindy.
I have made myself stop buying those pretty little embellishments, and I am making myself use what I have (or at least whittle the stash way down) LOL

Hi Cindy, just wanted to pop over and say thank you for the lovely comment you left on my Fantasy Stampers card/entry. So very nice of you. I really appreciate it.
As you said you were going through a pink phase well I had to come visit.
I am falling in love with this pretty blue creation - it's so beautiful and very classy too! I am still trying to use up years of hoard, quite a lot of that was Kanban too.
I am going to have a nose at the rest of your creations next, have a good week Karen x
