What’s on Your Workdesk? Wednesday #256

IMG_1132

Oh what a beautiful morning……. it’s the last day of April and a third of this year has now gone past. woo hoo, those weeks are really whizzing by! It’s also the last day to add your name to my Monthly Art Draw to win this little hanger, just click here to go to the relevant post.

Here’s my desk:

and yesterday there was an uncharacteristic flurry of crafty activity which means I am ahead of the game for this week. I have had my paints and embossing powders out (as the jug of brushes can testify)  and can you see that MM piece? I even managed an image transfer, real arty stuff. (Didn’t work THAT well but I haven’t done one for over a year). The main work in progress you can see is a bit secret squirrel (it’s the other side I have been working on). Any ideas what it is?

Over here on the ‘clean’ desk (I try to stop the inks and paints migrating over here) you can see a stripy butterfly and a few  photos I printed out to make a brag book. They are not very recent because I realised that (shame on me) all last year’s photos are still in the camera and I have lost the thingummybobby/USB thing to put my data card into the pc. (The fitting on my poor camera has died so I can’t do it directly anymore). Really need to get a new one.

So there you have it. HERE is a 'how to' join in WOYWW,everyone is welcome.  Here is an explanation of the WOYWW madness.  And HERE is how we're going to mark the fifth anniversary of ourselves, the week after some of us get together for the WOYWW Crop. I hope you enjoyed your visit, would love to know you have been. Happy WOYWW!!

Hi Cindy! Your desk looks great, just the way an arty/crafty desk should look like!! I have the same little containers that you have at the back, only mine are a little higher and I have little block alphabets stamps in different scripts in them :-). You can never have too much storage! Happy WOYWW and have a great week. Thanks for dropping by earlier.

Your desk looks very organised and I did have a peek at your pic on the left... very nice. I struggle with image transfer all the time when I use gel mediums. I had more success with stickytape and it worked well. Did you use a gel medium?

Your desk is always fun to come and snoop through.

It is the "pits" when you can't get photos to the PC.

Have a great week

A clean desk! what is that. I have only one desk and that is permanently messy. What a pain to have that problem with your camera, I hope you soon find the bit you need. The word chains are, like most of my stamps and stencils, from the Clarity range and are on their web site. This is the second set and I know there is at least one more set to come out. Have a good week. xx Maggie #61

Cor! A clean desk!! Posh! I only keep ink of the sewing desk to avoid getting in on my fabrics!
I do love the word "frock". Not many folks use that word these days. Thanks for your visit!

Lots of interesting things on your desk. I wouldn't even know how to transfer an image so you're well ahead of me there. I finally got a new camera recently and boy are they better these days. You should really think about getting a new one if you can.
Have a great week,

Hi Cindy, happy WOYWW and thanks for visiting my desk. Your's is a tidy desk waiting for the activity to mess it up...great idea to keep inks and paints away from clean working space. Cheers and have a great week RobynO#35
