Still enthusiastic
So just a few notes tonight - before it turns in to tomorrow!! Quiet day at home, everyone is a bit poorly, and a really horrible day here. Sat down this afternoon to have a go at making some 'butterfly fairies' for a monthly doll swap I am taking part in -I had never heard of them until a week ago, but they are quite cute and fairly easy to do once you get the hang of it. There are some tutorials about, will post some links when I have a chance but for now will just post some photos.

LATEST PROJECTS
The large mailer was given as a 60th birthday present to a very dear friend - I wasn't sure it was her kind of 'thing' but she says she loves it. The single slide mailers (below) were made for a challenge with my cyber mate Jinny and the one on the right is now living with her. The ATCs are some of the more recent ones I have done, trying on different things for size as always.
Something crafty this way comes........
Ok, have managed to knock this into shape a bit, let's see if we can't add something crafty, after all that's kind of what this is supposed to be about.
What am I into at the moment? Well ATCs of course, getting involved with the online ATC swap community has really opened my eyes and making little works of art really appeal to me. I'm also seriously addicted to slide mailers, dabble in a bit of scrapbooking, and have a pile of things that I am going to alter 'one day'. In the past I have done mosaics mainly for outside, including commissioned pieces, glass painting (the best thing I ever did got broken when we moved, hey ho), papier mache modelling and cross stitch but I really cannot see to do this anymore. I also on occasion make rather odd objects to put in my garden but perhaps we won't go there!!

Another day, another dollar....
As a good friend of mine would say. Need to sort out some piccies forthis site and have a bit of a PLAN (ooh, I could write a list). Been looking at some others and in between all the randomness there does seem to be a bit of a theme.....watch this space.

Here Goes Nothing
Having started don't seem to know what to say. I know, I could say why I called it Plant's list. Well, Plant is me, shortened version of my surname and Lists are what rule my life. I get nothing achieved if I don't write a list so I thought if nothing else this blog would probably end up as a series of lists, then I could look back and see how many of them I've actually done!!(or not!) Only joking, but I didn't write a list today and what have I done? Nothing but tidy the craft room, fax something for my daughter (well she would have shouted at me if I hadn't), post loads of ATCs, chat on the computer, surf the internet and set up this blog...... see what I mean? It's a sad sad compulsion. All very positive things you might say, and I suppose a list of sorts. But the important things that would have been on the list haven't been done, the washing from yesterday is still on the floor in the utility room, I haven't done the accounts, I forgot to pay the tax bill or make the appointment with the optician and ......oops, there I go again.
