Craft Club Cards

Busman's holiday at the weekend as I went to Claire Bear's Craft Club for a crafty afternoon. 

We made two cards. The first was a twist and pop card, which I've been itching to try (you know how I love a kinetic card). It was certainly easier being shown how to do it than having to figure it out myself!!















































Really taken with these and have made a few blanks up to be decorated while I had the instructions firmly in my head!

Next we made a circle rocker stepper card. As you can probably see I got rather taken by one of the stamp sets Claire had brought and used it for both cards. I am entering this one in the current Try It On Tuesday Challenge which is 'Anything but a square'. Think this counts!!

What's On Your Wokr Desk? Wednesday #398

Here's my desk this chilly, bright, Wednesday morning. I've been prepping for an ATC class with my cardmaking group in a couple of weeks (yes, I'm getting bored of the cards). The card at the top is to demonstrate to the sceptic in the group that they can be used as toppers - not something I've ever done before but I rather like this card. The ubiquitous list of course, suppose I'd better look at that in a moment and a few essential tools. This is actually quite tidy for me.

So, I've not been around much lately, and I do have a lot to get through today sooooooo I probably won't get around to everyone's desk today, it'll be mainly touching base with old friends. But I will pop over to yours if you visit tho it may be tomorrow.

Oh, you don't know what I'm talking about? Well, WOYWW is a group where crafty peeps have a snoop around each other's desks every Wednesday to see what they're up to. Been doing it for years the nosy beggars. Pop over here to find out more and join in why don't ya?

Atishoo! Atishoo! for Try It On Tuesday

In by the skin of my teeth but I am going to try really hard to do at least one challenge a month this year! 

So I had a look at Try It On Tuesday where I used to be a regular – hi girls! and the challenge was to use tissue. 

I have used a printed tissue to get the image for my topper.  Started off bright and fresh this one but became increasingly grungier as time went on, and the light’s been so bad he last couple of days I’m not sure about the colours! 

 Still, might be another technique to try out with one of my craft groups.
