Tatty Floral Tag for Dragons Dream

The current challenge at Dragon's Dream Tag It On is Pink, Fabric and A Face. As soon as I saw the fabric I thought - I am going to make a fabric flower. The first bit of fabric I grabbed was quite thick but went through my bug with the TH tattered floral die like a dream. Of course it wasn't pink so I coloured it with Spun Sugar distress stains. Found a Lynn Perella face. Layered the background with inks, paints and stencils - this changed a few times as I wasn't happy with it. Stamped with the 'blobby' thing from my Jofy stamp set and added some colour. Stuck some lace on the bottom. Mainly because I was reading the ingredients for another challenge. Sigh.
Job done. Not my usual colour palette but it's growing on me.

 

Purple, Orange and a butterfly....

is the recipe for the current Dragon's Dream Tag It On Challenge. Well I had my tags out, it would be rude not to. Here's my entry, using dylusions, Distress Inks, stamps, grungepaper butterflies and bakers twine - I think I was more than a little influnced by the previous tags with regards to layout but if it works.........

While Dragon's Dream.... mystical fairy tag

A very quick tag for the Dragon's Dream Tag It On Challenge. The instructions were a sort of recipe

"This time we would like you to dream along with our Dreaming Dragon, with mythical creatures, a night sky, a clear moon and as always at least one real stamp".

Well I haven't got a dragon stamp or any other mythical creature so went with a fairy - goodness Tinkerbell will  be cross with me for suggesting they are mythical!!

Hope everyone is OK with all this snow. Brrrr, don't much like the white stuff myself so have hidden inside all day but will have to work tomorrow.
