What’s on Your Work Desk? Wednesday #272

..in my opinion!Morning deskers!! (Click on the button for more WOYWW info)

Tight desk shots today and honestly I am still pretty tidy after clearing up on Sunday. This week I am mainly working on UFOs (see previous post). These ‘frames’ were the waste from something else. Couldn't bear to throw them away but fed up moving them round the desk so thought I’d use them on a card.

In true BP fashion - Here are some I did last night LOL.

And on the other desk, a card to be finished – no idea where that guitar topper came from it was in a folder of vintage images. Still it’s another male card for the MM Open Day, took 2 mins!! Someday soon I am going to ink that rubber – yep that stamp set has been loitering for nearly a year. And I really really am going to have done something with those flowers by the end of the day…… Promise.

Am on a mission to get my UFO’s sorted because I want to get on and  do something different – not sure what yet but it certainly won’t be a card!!

And dear deskers, if you’ve got a min, pop on over to my Monthly Art Draw post for August and join in. Been getting so few entries am thinking I will wind it up after the Tim Holtz Tag set next January if take up doesn’t improve.  There’s no catch, it’s free and anyone can join in. I can’t believe no one likes receiving objet d’art mail, even if it is just my old tat!

Have a wonderful Wednesday!!

You are so much better than me, I would have thrown them away. And now I'm ashamed. I love the image at the top, in the top photo that's got a casually slung green frame over it. I can also say that I had a Gorjuss set unlinked for an age. I thought I loved it, but once used. I didn't. But I think that about the Nutting dolls too, and I realise, it's because
I like what other people do to them!

I think many of us have ufo's & wonder how many of us get then finished in the end. So hands up from me as I have some also. Happy woyww Jill #26

I love your cards - very clever using left over bits and pieces - I'm all for upcycling/recycling, whichever it is! Hope you have a great week and thanks for stopping by my blog.

The card with the dragonfly on! I have that stamp, must have a look for it and get it out, it's gorgeous and forgot all about it so thanks for that.
Have a great week and happy crafting, Angela x 49

Do not mention UFOs to me! I have zillions of them. Well, not really. They get about a month of desk rotation time and then I throw them in a bag to give to a friend who loves other people's rejects. I do have some that I keep around because I'm bound and determined to use them "someday." I like what you are doing with the frames and kudos to you for doing something with your UFOs. PJ #59

Hi Cindy, another UFO collector here- I have a whole tub full on my desk. The stuff where you get so far, then don't really know where its going? I need to do something with them soon, before they take over. Have a great week, Hugs, Shaz #16 xxx

Clever you, using up the bits and leftovers! I only throw fabric away when it's less than 3cm sq! Love what you've made :-)

Hi Cindy and I'm sorry I didn't visit yesterday. Managed some visiting but looked after my granddaughters for most of yesterday so ran out of time in morning and was shattered last night :-) I've lots of scraps and UFO's. Ca n't bear throwing stuff away! Some of it finds it's way into box of bits the grandchildren use when they come and want to craft. Anne x #33

Pretty cards. Love the one with the guitar. But then anything music tends to jump out at me. ;-) Creative Blessings! Kelly #62

I have a room full of UFO's, but mine are large canvasses half started and then tossed into a corner, may get back to them one day. I love your cards especially the bright yellow one with the flower.
Have a great week,

I Sometimes do that but I make a window card out of them when I think I'll be able to make it work but mostly I recycle my scraps and try to use up as much as possible :) thanks for the visit hugs Nikki 2
