What’s On Your Workdesk? Wednesday #309

Here we go.

IMG_1708[1]

The ‘Other’ desk. Absolutely nothing of interest. Sometimes there is something to be said for a slight staging of items. Centre stage you can see my first home made die storage – I opt for magnetic sheets in clear plastic envelopes from Lily Of The Valley now as the homemade folders got rather heavy. But the original ones are still in here. Mat from my scan n cut ‘cos I have been cutting out sentiments – you can kinda see the result over to the right. I was asked for sympathy cards again so am making a bunch. Some envelopes with cardboard backings donated by a friend because it is good as a base for projects (such a womble). My hougie board as I must have been scoring something. Really nothing very inspiring, although I do have a few commissions on the go. Trusty bug over to the rear.

And that’s me for this week.

Worryingly, not an ATC in sight.

Wonder why I am showing you this? Check this out. And join in!!

I used to use folders for my storage but they got so heavy that all the pockets ripped. I now have a box with little zipped clear wallets - still use the magnetic sheets but cut to size.

Well it all looks inspiring to me, tools ready for actions. I use magnetic sheets too, though I've stuck mine to the back of my craft room door and keep my dies there! Take care Zo xx 53

I have tried many ways to organize my dies and I don't have a ton of them! But none are perfect. Oh well, I'll keep looking at how others do it and one day I will have a EUREKA moment, I'm sure.

Oh and yes please - old hardback books, the fatter the better :) I'll be happy to have them. 500+ pages if possible but 400+ might work too.

See you are the crop!

Happy late in the day WOYWW!

I'm liking the storage solution for the dies. I haven't found the perfect thing for myself yet but am still trying. I enjoyed the visit to your desk even though you said not much to see. Plenty for us to be nosy over! Judy #60

My dies are on magnetic sheets stuck to cardboard, and then standing in a magazine file....it helps with accessibility, and the magnet sheets are a gift, huh.
Worryingly, my ATCs are done. am so chuffed I'm smug!!! But don't worry, there's nothing like a deadline!!
Really looking forward to seeing you. X
