Well at least I think that's the one lol. I've been absent a lot longer than Julia!!
A day in the craft room today, although its already past noon and all I've done is tidy up and a few chores. That 'To Do' list never gets any shorter. On Saturday I went to a craft session with some friends and we did some paper cutting. I enjoyed it more than I thought I would, and didn't quite finish my 'bird on a branch' so going to get that done today and hopefully get both in a frame.
Later I plan to have a play at some napkin art as I want to do it with my craft club ladies next week. I've seen a couple of novel techniques that I want to try out.
Yesterday we tried out what I call a spotlight technique - they turned out really well but as usual I forgot to take photos of their makes. Here are my samples.
Well, that's it from me, hope you are all well, I won't promise to visit everyone but will try to get round as many as possible. Happy Wednesday!! For any who wonder why I'm sharing my desk, here's the link to WOYWW, hop on over to Stamping Ground and join in.

Hi Cindy, fab cards. Well done on the paper cutting, I'm really not a fan of fussy cutting, so know it's not for me! Have a lovely week, Hugs, Shaz #6 X
Oooh, I do love those cards, so elegant! You can get some gorgeous napkins these days which are perfect for artwork, it'll be interesting to see what you do with them! Nice to see you back on the desks btw!

Gorgeous cards! Well done on the paper cutting, it looks fab, but I am not very patient with fussy cutting myself. Thanks for sharing. Have a lovely week. Love and God Bless, Caro xx (#19)

Love those cards Cindy, it's such a great technique. I must admit that I don't have the patience for paper cutting but I admire those who do such beautiful work. Happy WOYWW. Sarah #2
I do love that ranunculus stamp! Lovely cards My Name Is Cindy, your craft club gals must really love having you to guide them. I love too the paper cutting, but am not about to do any! Against that coloured background that feather is just gorgeous. I do like a feather!
Lovely cards Cindy but that paper-cutting is something else. It is fantastic! I tried some within a journal with Dyan but mine has not turned out at all like yours so I know how intricate the work you have done is. Well done you. Mine is so amateurish when I look at yours. Doubt I will improve on it as it tends to hurt on my back when I am pressing to cut out shapes but hey ho, once the back improves who knows. Watch my page! LOL
Hugs, Neet 4 xx
Lovely cards, Cindy, and I shall look forward to seeing your napkin stuff - I don’t really know how that’s done! Thank you for your visit and it was so nice to hear from you again - I feel really out of touch too! I am glad you liked the scarf and reading about our kitty antics! I didn’t think needle felting was that noisy... maybe give it another go! I started the felt balls with needle felting, and then finished them off wet felting, putting them in a plastic box with some soapy water and shaking them vigorously and they all felted each other! I did a bit on the other end of the scarf today but still a way to go before I can wear it. Sorry to hear your elderly kitty has got some dementia - a lady at church says the same about her cat. My first cat was a completely crazy tortoise - the vet said it goes with the territory - they have tortoiseshell brains as well as tortoiseshell coats - all mixed up! Sophie used to purr and growl at the same time lol! When she was in a good mood she was so loving, though. She was nearly 17 when she died, back in 1995. We let our kitties out in the garden again today and Ruby didn’t try once to get out, and just pottered about like her sister! Perhaps she realises now that my hubby has secured the defences. We are going to add a carrot to the stick in the spring, in the form of several cat mint plants around the garden, to give her the incentive to stay in!! The plumber didn’t make it yesterday as his wife is just out of hospital so I’ve got to wait a while.
Happy belated WOYWW,
