What's on Your Workdesk? Wednesday #512

Morning deskers. Welcome to all and sundry taking part in the weekly blog hop at Stamping Ground. Pop on over for details, post a photo of your desk and join in!

Tuesday tidyup didn't get finished as I had to go out early eve, so this week you get treated to a really messy space. At Tuesday classes I never really get my 'sample' card finished as I end up helping people individually. So what you see here are the 'bits' I demo'd that I will now make up into cards or whatever. The actual card we made is the one towards the back of the desk with a frame - the pegged one is one I am finishing up!! There are a lot of stamps about on the desk - I like to store my stamps by company but I have lots of individual stamps that defy that classification or didn't come as a set and increasingly it would be useful if they were somehow catalogued and stored by genre, ie splodge stamps, butterfly stamps etc. It's kind of done like that but I haven't maintained it over the years. That's gonna be a big job.

Inexplicably both wrists and elbows are giving me a lot of grief today and I have a lot to do - I wanted to do some housework (well that's a lie, I never WANT to do housework but the bathrooms are minging) and I have docrafts demos weekend after next and I have yet to look properly at my kit and start making samples. Plus classes to prep for. Anyhow, must be off, have a good Wednesday.

Love that word "minging". Made me smile.
I did enjoy your desk this morning, so much to see - it is like Aladdin's Cave. Gorgeous samples and love the dabber thingies you have for your DI's. I keep going back to your page and finding something else I didn't see. I think you should take the photo every Tuesday and treat us to such an array of lovely things.
Hugs, Neet xx 4 xx

Isn't it boring when housework gets in the way of life? I think my ankle is out in sympathy with your aches too, it's being a so and so today. So I'm pottering so that I don't seize up! Love what's on your desk, so bright and cheerful!

My tidying up is still in progress and my cataloguing has slipped too. Today, apart from doing the Wednesday blog thing, I have to do some of the dreaded housework too, otherwise I will not be able to move round the house, not helped by the fact that my bin did not get put out last week so a tip run is to be fitted into the day. You have a lovely busy desk to play with. Hope you get plenty of time there. xxx Maggie (Silvercrafter) #8

It sure looks (and sounds) like you're very busy... I love all those colored pieces/cards on your desk! Don't forget to relax and breath in between tasks, especially with your wrist and elbows hurting - take it easy! Happy woyww and a hug from Holland. Marit #18

You certainly have a lot of projects on the go Cindy. I love the sample card at the back of your desk. I do hope that your arms and shoulders recover soon. I will look out for you over on JJAMMMA. I share a blog post every day so I may well pop up. A friend got me involved very early on (around #150) and now we are nearly up to 8000 members. They are another very friendly and supportive bunch, just like WOYWWers. Happy WOYWW. Sarah #5

Plenty work on your desk today, Cindy. The only sponges stand out for me - lovely colours. Hope those aches and pains clear soon - though I wouldn't rush into that housework too soon. Elizabeth x #28

That's the sort of desk I love to see, so much going on and to keep you busy. I know exactly how you feel regarding the DT pack the panic when it's been unopened when it needs to be done hee hee!! Happy Crafting with a little bit of housework in between. Tracey #7

I bet they’re only minging by your standards Cindy! I’m almost in a panic for you with all the work coming up...a new kit is fun but I always have trepidation about samples in case New stuff they send doesn’t immediately speak to me!! Your workspace looks grand to me, love it. Lots of incarnations of the finished card, I must say it’s been a long time since I demo’d while others followed. Sorry about the inexplicable arm pains...RSI? Whatever, get shot of it, I recommend rest and gin if all else fails.

Hi Cindy - sorry it's taken me so long to reply - this is the bunny pattern on Love Knitting.. https://www.loveknitting.com/little-rabbit-easter-egg-cover-knitting-pattern-by-needles-pins Needless to say the Benjamin bunny was my own re-invention but easy to do if your Mum wants to do it. xx Jo
