What's On Your Workdesk? Wednesday#659

Morning deskers, very late on parade today so a quick one from me. Have had a busy few days socially and had to be at the GPs this morning at 8.15 (what was I thinking?) for a routine blood test. Feel like it's gonna be a pottering kind of day and a nice walk in the sunshine at some stage.

Here's my desk:-

Pretty clear!! Christmas got tidied up as I had a friend cardmaking yesterday. I made this little chap and started on a card for my neighbour who is 90 this week. I think I'll just do some birthday cards then back on the Christmas marathon from Friday.

So, why am I showing you my desk? Well it's our weekly Wednesday Blog Hop - WOYWW. Here's the link to the one responsible, the lovely Julia at Stamping Ground - pop on over and join in, see what it's all about and have a go yourself.

Have a great week, stay well, stay safe, love n hugs Cindy xx

Those cards look very pretty Cindy. Looking forward to seeing the 90 year old one next week?
Isn't it nice when you have a friend to craft with, seems ages since that happened with covid being around. Got a Zoom chat with crafting friends on Saturday so that will be nice.
Glad you have been busy socially - what was needed for you.
Take care, Hugs, Neet 6 xx

It's good to get Christmas packed away and get back to normal crafting - I love the card and pretty florals too. xx Jo

A pottering days sounds good, but sunshine? What sunshine? It looks more like rain here and quite windy, so I am staying indoors.

Hi Cindy! Very pretty cards! How nice to have someone over to make cards with! That won't be happening here anytime soon. Pottering is wonderful, something I've been doing a lot of lately! We haven't had any sunshine here recently, mostly dull dreary snowy/rainy/**cold days!
Have a great week, Lindart #23

Great cards! How lovely to have a friend around to craft with, it’s good fun and something to relish. Hopefully with the relaxing of rules, more of that can take place in the next year!

Beautiful cards Cindy. Pottering sounds good to me. Apart from the woyww visits I like to potter on a Wednesday as Tuesday is a busy day for me getting to mum's, sorting her shopping and doing her housework so I feel justified. Have a happy woyww, Angela x1x

The cards are lovely, so dimensional! And yeah, me too, today, on the blood test. I stopped by the hospital lab for bloods when I was there for my appointment but the wait was like 2 hours so I bailed to go to my GP instead. Oh well. Must drink fluids to plump up my poor battered veins now...

Stay Safe & a late but Happy WOYWW!

Just this morning I carried a box full of Christmas stamps back down from the attic room to my workroom….it may only be weeks since I put them away but I really must do more through the year, so I figure if I have to keep falling over the box, it will encourage me. We’ll see. I probably
Y have room to craft with another, but have set up the space so that it wouldn’t be possible, and indeed, despite having immediately local crafty friends, have never thought to do it, how sociable is that! Bet it was nice, although, I’m not sue how much I’d get done. I went to crop last weekend and made one LO because of all the catching up I had to do…!
I hope you had a lie in to make up for the early appointment yesterday…and it was so cold at that time too! Very brave and erm, intrepid, frankly!
