What's On Your Workdesk, Wednesday #885

Morning deskers, welcome to our weekly Wednesday Blog Hop WOYWW,  now being hosted on Sarah Brennan's blog. Here's the link for that lovely lady - Sarah's Craft Shed - pop on over and join in, see what it's all about and join in yourself.

Here's my desk. The WIP box has been much reduced, in fact there isn't much in there at all. The NBU (Never been used) box however is overflowing with stamps and die sets. Lots are individual but I stopped counting at 50. There is a Christmas one as well. (Hangs her head in shame).

Managed to make these from random bits in the WIP box at craft club on Tuesday. I had gone armed with several projects but forgot to double check my tool kit. No pins to unclog my glue, no paintbrush, no foam tape, no large scissors, no pencils or alcohol inks and no wipes or cloth. A lot of improvisation was called for. A couple of NBUs were called in to action.

I missed a couple weeks back there because I went on an impromptu trip to Corfu with DD and Lionel. He had a great time but it was a tad cold for me. Which is why we didn't introduce him to the rather lovely little waterpark till the last day as it would have meant one of us being in the water with him. Sandcastle's on the beach were preferable!!

Before we left on holiday I had my Kraft club meeting and we made this card.

It was very well received and the ladies have gone off and made more with their own spin on it.

 Always gives me a buzz.

Like many of you I watched the livestream of Neet's funeral. It was a lovely celebration of her life and I was glad I made time to be there.

RIP Neet.

Hope you are all well, have a good crafty week and love n hugs from me,

Cindyxx

Happy WOYWW - Plumber, tree surgeon and painter/handyman all today so short and sweet!
Love the idea of a NBU box and don't know why I don't do the same. I have a LOT of NBU stuff that is crying out for me to turn it to U (used) stuff. I shudder to think it could be a 100 Days project one year. Crikey. How is it between the purchase and the arrival it goes from a MUST HAVE ESSENTIAL to a Why did I buy that? DOH! Love the cards (thought there were 6 to begin with!) and the beach doesn't even LOOK very warm so yeah, I'd have sat out as well.

I undersatand your words about stuff that's never been used and I have a plan. Hubby is off soon for his school visits, dogs are going in the kennels and I'm going to hide in the cabin and have a good sort out, just hope nothing happens to distract me and yes I hang my head in shame at how long I have ignored this. Love the class cards too. Wishing you a happy woyww, hugs Angela x9x

How cool making super cards out of bits and bobs from your WIP box. Shame about the tools - one of the reasons I'm not fond of going out crafting. The 2 Kraft Club cards are amazing thought there were 6! LOL! Lionel looks as happy as larry in the water. Hugs Bj#6

Well done on almost clearing the WIP box. If I had a NBU box it would be huge - more like a roomful!

The cards you made are beautiful, so I can see how people were inspired. Happy WOYWW!

Looks like Lionel enjoyed the beach despite the cold Cindy. Good for you whittling down your WIP box. I am sure you will get round to everything in your NBUS box eventually. Stay safe and Happy WOYWW. Sarah
