What's on Your Work Desk ? Wednesday #315

Blimey, Weds today means it's Thursday tomorrow and I have to go to work. How depressing!!

But morning deskers, I'm here to show what I am up to this week:

Oh yes I have been having inky un with my new prima stamps. Really like this idea, really quick and easy (well all the clever stuff is in the artwork that someone else has done, in this case a talented lady called Jamie Dougherty). And a good way to use up some of my mountains of flowers which, frankly, are getting a little out of hand. But I guess a girl can never have too many flowers in her life.

Just looked at the photo again - these aren't quite finished yet, the still need to be made up into cards and decorated - I'm not doing a silence of the lambs thing with that flower over her mouth. See truly not staged!!

If you don't know why I am sharing this photo then you need to check it out here. I have decided to tackle the bathrooms this morning and then I shall be off for a wander with a nice cuppa. See you around!! Happy WOYWW.

I remember seeing the work of that designer at CHA in January and liking it. Your cards look wonderful and I think it is a great idea to use your flowers in this way. Maybe not the Silence of the Lambs though, eh? LOL

Those cards are gorgeous! I just used the link to look up the artist. Lovely stamps.
Please show us the cards when finished, although I don't know what you can do to make them even more beautiful (apart from taking the flower out of her mouth lol)
Thanks for stopping by already,
have a great week,

Love what you have done / are doing with those cards ... I am simply hopeless at using colour like that and really must be more brave and not just stick to my random sploshing and splooshing! It's a gorgeous stamp! Thanks for popping by my blog earlier ... can confirm the canvas was posted this morning but I will stress until I hear it is ok ... and even then I will stress that they are fibbing and don't like it at all really. Need to work on the confidence issues perhaps. Aim to be at the crop in October ... how exciting! Love to you from Debbie xXx

I actually come to LOVE the 'silence of the lamb' card... but the other ones are awesome too! And so is the ATC you send me (don't appologize for not letting me know earlier... I'm as 'old' and forgetting things as much or even more than you do!) Love from Holland, Marit #38

Holy cow, Cindy. You have more flowers on your desk than I have ever owned in my life. And they are all lovely on the stamped image. You made some truly lovely ones by using up a few of your flowers.

Thanks for visiting me earlier. Happy WOYWW from # 5.

Exactly! A girl cannot have too many flowers. But I might have too many. LOL! I have a ridiculous amount. I should photograph them for next WOYWW. They are on the wall behind my desk.... well, I guess not behind it but behind where I sit. Anyway... flowers. Changing the subject those ladies with flowers in their hair are great. I have a couple of those really crazy big Prima stamps and am clueless what to do with them. This is a great idea! Thanks for the visit earlier and I secretly agree that pocket cards look like a lot of work. However, I will say it appears that most of the cards in the one I have look pre-printed with a little doodling of artwork or embellishment added. That lessens the work. I'll probably send my friend one back but I don't think it is a fad I'll pick up. For one thing I put prices on all my ATC holder sheets with the idea of getting rid of them on the 27th. Judy #55

Ah that is a clever idea to use up those flowers (that boxful you had at the crop must have had over 100 in there!!) Love the image, very ethereal

Wow Cindy, those cards are absolutely stunning!!! They are soooo gorgeous... lovely watercolour effect and all the fabby flowers too! (Lol at the Silence of the Lambs!) You gave me an idea of drawing simple pictures and then embellishing them like that - so great!! Thanks for your 2 lovely comments on my blog and your good wishes for my treatment, and I'm glad you like my proto-angels and enjoyed the fun I had with the first one! I just had to photograph it hanging onto the bathroom towel rail because it looked so funny! I should be working on them today, and on the cloth ones too - I cut a template yesterday and I need to make a mock up to make sure it's OK before I go into production but I'm still soooo exhausted all the time! It's a tad depressing because I want to get on but lack motivation even to get started.

Happy belated WOYWW,
