What's On Your Workdesk? Wednesday #541

Morning all! How these weeks fly by, I was in Norfolk last week and it already seems like a lifetime ago. Managed to miss the rain and had fairly good weather, perfect for walking.

Here's my desk. Not v inspiring as I kind just sorted one of the mounds and pushed the rest out to the edge so I could  take a photo. I AM going to do something with that pile of felt at the back. If only I could find the one needlecase I already made... For some reason I can't seem to move forward until I do, but I am absolutely stumped as to where I have put it. The whole craft room is in borderline panic mode as Christmas is well and truly out which means there is NO ROOM TO MOVE. (You may find I get slightly more hysterical from here on in as the weeks progress).

The exploding box is a project for class in a couple of weeks. Rather cute but not entirely sure what its for. Well, if you have to ask......

So you know the drill. It's Wednesday, we nose around other crafter's desks to see what's what. All courtesy of the lovely Julia Dunnit of Stamping Ground. Pop on over, link up and join in why don't ya?

(The bedroom still isn't finished)

Happy WOYWW

Love visiting east coast. My son is now in Jersey and weather has been warm. Here we were freezing but I hear Thursday a warm up of 70, it's been 30's/40's and cold. Love the exploding box and on a list to try one, but like you mentioned with the season changes so quickly I get those piles and the overwhelming feeling of TOO MUCH. My head is full of ideas but.....
Have a great week and enjoy

Hi Cindy. That exploding box is lovely - hope your class enjoy making theirs. I'm sure that between us all we can help you take good slow breaths to alleviate the panic of your craft room... :-)
Take care. God bless.

The exploding box is amazing - I love how you've decorated it and it's now been added to my list of things to have a go at!! Good luck dealing with your studio in Christmas mode - not something I'm looking forward to and I'll probably wait until end of November before succumbing to the panic!
Have a good week,

Christmas panic mode is creeping up on me too. The worst part is I have a container with all sorts of projects started last year and christmas stamps and I can't find it!! AAaaahh!! So crazy right. I have a sneaky suspicion that is it located in my craft closet that is a disaster right now! which means I will have to open the door to my craft pandora's box and find it. I may not escape!!
Love, love, love the exploding box!

The box is adorable. I tend not to panic too much about Christmas - I know i have to do stuff but haven't even started yet - doesn't matter , it will come around next year too ;)

What a sweetie that exploding box is, I'd never tire of opening it. Beautifully decorated. I'm not thinking about Christmas until November, I used to be finished with it by now but the past 2/3 years i've been incredibly unorganised.
Hope you had a great time away? We too always took our 3 away abroad, it worked out so much cheaper but when in their teens we decided to show them the beauty of their homeland. Dont think there's many Castles we have not explored hee hee.. Happy WoywW Tracey #6

I think a week in Norfolk is way more preferable to finishing the bedroom! Great shots on the beach too, great luck with the weather. I can’t help (of course) with the needle case, but I totally understand that feeling of standing still till you find it, and girlfriend, you are NOT alone with that other sense of creeping panic over Christmas. I have so many ideas and other stuff to sort...oh well, I find myself in great company, thanks!

Now remember, take deep breaths, count backwards from ten and chill......and if that doesn't work, then an extremely large gin and tonic ought to do the trick ;-) !!! Love the exploding box, each side would make a great tag. And you know the best way to find the needlecase? Make another one, it'll turn up as soon as you've snipped the last thread...always does for me, lol!

This is a fabulous box, I don’t think art always has to have any purpose other than making someone happy.

Hi Cindy , I adore the box. I still have a piece of your work hanging in my craft room, from a swap in ukpc.
I shall be glad when work on house has finished - this is last major project.
Thanks for popping by. Sorry re late reply. Emergency call out to elderly Auntie last night ( mum's sister - she is 94 years old)

Love your exploding box Cindy. You have put a lot of work into it and I am sure it will be a bit hit with all who take the class. I know I would be pleased to make it at a class.
Think I had better join the frenzy you mention and get my head into Christmas mode - hadn't realised just how close it is. Now where did I put the few cards i made at the beginning of the year in readiness? Help!
Glad you had some lovely weather when you went away, those shadows of the two of you are fab! Hope it set you up for whatever winter has in store for us but also that you get some more weekends like that along the way.
Have a great week - and a great class when it comes along.
Hugs, Neet 3 xx
