What's On Your Workdesk? Wednesday #825

Morning deskers, welcome to our weekly Wednesday Blog Hop WOYWW,  now being hosted on Sarah Brennan's blog. Here's the link for that lovely lady - Sarah's Craft Shed - pop on over and join in, see what it's all about and join in yourself.

How these weeks do fly,  but lovely to see some slightly better weather and unmistakable signs of Spring. Might even make it into the garden soon!

Desk has been fairly quiet until yesterday when I used up some pieces that had been stamped and coloured pre-covid I swear!! This is my standy-uppy desk.

Today my other desk has evidence of me testing out a layout for a commission (the blue one) , and why not make a couple more cards while these flowers are out? All scrap bits!!

Hope to do a better job of getting round this week as I don't have a lot on though I am having a short drive to check out the new Range that has opened nearby and also to check the parking near a local 'Monkey Music' that I have agreed to take Lionel to every Thursday. Which of course let's the old man off of babysitting for the whole morning so not best pleased. Heaven help me, sitting in a room full of toddlers and singing for 45 minutes - what was I thinking?

Hope you are well, have a lovely week, love n hugs Cindyxx

Sorry, I’ve just been laughing at you singing for 45 minutes, you’ll love it really! Those flower cards are fab, love the tulips and the other cards you've made from stash, how satisfying. Great pic of Lionel, he just looks full of fun!!

Very pretty cards, and back to commissions I see. I guess you won't give up quite yet! "The wheels on the bus...." now I will have all those kiddie songs in my head for hours LOL! Well done you for stepping up tho' - bet you enjoy it, for a bit. Too Maddie to a singing group when we lived in Islington and Paul Whitehouse and Jane Horrocks were there one day - not together, just coincidence. Usually it was all nannies LOL!
A no-knitting day WOYWW!

Well, I for one, love sitting in a room full of Toddlers singing for 45 minutes! I did it for 35 years! I still like taking Jasper to places where we can sing together! Hope you get a chance in the garden this week, ours is still very cold and at times covered in snow! I love the standing tulip card, someting Mittsy wont eat (she eats plant leaves, so I have to be careful!)! Gorgeous cards, very Springy! Have a wonderful week, Lindart #15

Look at Lionel! He's shot up! He's gorgeous!! I can't say I'd have jumped at volunteering for that, but let me assure you that my girl remembers with huge fondness the things that just she and grandma did together...a music and movement thing and a reading group. Loving the floral and retro vibe going on on the commissioned card, clever stuff, as always!

Loved Julia's comment of course and they're such precious years when they're young and want you there, Lionel is so cute.
Wow impressive on using up snippets and trial card, I've had such a bad night I've now made it to everyone. Hopefully 🙏🏻🙏🏻a better one tonight though it's yet away. It's 2pm on Thurs arvo here. Had 4hrs sleep. Don't travel well on four hours. Happy belated WOYWW Shaz in Oz.x

Yay I've made it at last. Super cards, wish I had the inclination to make some. Lionel is gorgeous, hope you both enjoy the music sessions, sounds great to me. I did the tots in church a few weeks back (been sick with virus ever since) but I had a wonderful time with the littlies, forgot how much I love playing with them.

Splodge! All you need is a photo of that little man on your blog page and its a winner for me.
But saying that you have some lovely cards there and the pot of tulips reminds me of a card (commercial not handmade) I got for my birthday which still stands in the fireplace. You do your commissioned cards so well, it's no wonder you get asked for them constantly.
Am imagining you sat on the settee feet up and a constant supply of coffee by your side as you recover from your play day with Splodge. Total enjoyment but cream crackered.
Hugs, Neet 3 xx
