What's On Your Workdesk? Wednesday - WOYWW #610

Good morning Deskers, another Wednesday arrives, cold and sunny here in London. Business not quite as usual as we have heard from Doug that the lovely Shaz is really very poorly. Our hearts, prayers and best wishes go out to them both today.

Well here's my desk, late Tuesday - and still light at  5.00 pm despite the grey, snow laden skies.

I finally finished my never ending cards from last week. They aren't masterpieces but I was playing with how to use the spaces.

And here's a commission for a personalised 80th. A bit of a rush job this one but I still like it. Look at the depth of that embossing folder. This is a newish one from Lisa Horton (which I bought in January - I'm still on track for no February craft purchases).

Why am I showing you this? Well it's our weekly Wednesday Blog Hop - WOYWW. Here's the link to the one responsible, the lovely Julia at Stamping Ground - pop on over and join in, see what it's all about and have a go yourself.

Stay well, stay safe, Cindy xx

well done for keeping to the February purchase embargo. That 80th birthday card is stunning Cindy and you are right about the embossing - it is deep. Greta never ending cards too. Stay safe, Sarah #5

LOVE your neverending cards! I am not much of a cardmaker, really, but I am a sucker for a weird construction or some kind of interactivity. Lovely stuff!

Happy WOYWW!

I love what you've done with the embossing on that card - the colours are so soft and pretty. Definitely hugs all around today, Lisa-Jane #10

Sending that Hug!
Good on you for persevering with those Never Ending Cards, I do find them difficult to know what to stamp in the squares. Someone once sent me one with footballs in each and everyone of them so that could be an idea for a football fan (not that I am).
Lovely 80th card - very appropriate and fab embossing folder, that is deep!
Another Hug, Neet 6 xx

That 80th card is really lovely, the soft tones and flowers are gorgeous - I’m sure Eleanor will love it! And we don’t always have to do masterpieces, but those cards are bright and cheerful, perfect for a pick-me-up which I think we all need today.

I started doing a never ending card the other day...I never ended it but will have another go as soon as I finish cutting up the dinosaurs! I love the purple ones, your cards that is...not my dinosaours, I've coloured the ones I've already done a sort of grey. One of my last 'commissions' (no I wasn't paid)was for an 80 year old too, I hope she liked it!
Stay safe, Keep on crafting! Happy WOYWW!? ((Lyn)) #26!

Well my friend, I congratulate you on your dry February. Mine isn’t. I did some bad mood shopping yesterday and no doubt when it comes it will just sit about for a bit while I figure out why I bought it! For all the work the endless cards make, your desk looks pretty sane. The cards are lovely, a triumph of folding and figuring where to put panels, I believe you have more patience than I! What a sweet card for Eleanor too, I agree about the depth of the embossing, these 3d folders are incredible. And hard to crank through the machine! Keep wel and stay strong with the shopping, we’re nearly half way through the month!

I'm late this week getting round everyone as mum is in a nursing home and we had to take her some stuff yesterday as well as going for our vaccine. I love never ending cards they are so much fun to make and receive. Wishing you a very happy belated woyww, Angela x18x

Your never ending cards are gorgeous, Cindy, and they look fascinating! Not sure how the construction works, but I love anything interactive. The 80th birthday card is beautiful, and as you say, a really deep embossing folder - so pretty!
