What's On Your Workdesk? Wednesday #623

Morning Deskers!! Yes the blog is all fine, seems some idiot was displaying in html code or something. Panic averted 😍

Anyhoo its all go here chez Ashplant with the church wedding only a few days away. Yikes!

Are we ready? Of course we are (if you discount the finally-tried-on suit with moth holes, the last minute bridesmaid's dress alterations and the complete failure on the part of the father of the groom to book the transport......).

But you are here to see my desk. The only thing on it this week is the wedding card. I've gone for a fairly understated and modern design with a nod, rather than a full blown acknowledgement, to LOTR.

I'm off this morning to get my second jab. What with the dentist yesterday and a nail appointment Thursday I feel giddy with all this activity. So, keeping it short this week because I'm sure you're busy and I know I am. Those sequins won't sew themselves.........

Why am I showing you this? Well it's our weekly Wednesday Blog Hop - WOYWW. Here's the link to the one responsible, the lovely Julia at Stamping Ground - pop on over and join in, see what it's all about and have a go yourself.

Have a great week, stay well, stay safe, love n hugs Cindy xx

There always seems to be ups and downs before a wedding but it’ll all go ahead smoothly and you’ll have a wonderful day! That’s a beautiful card you’ve made, very classy indeed, I love the colours! Hope you’re ok after the second jab, another step back to normality :-D

You did make me laugh - moth holes indeed, I hope that was a joke. Well, you seem to have everything under control with just a hint of panic/chaos but then what wedding is not without the occasional bits and bobs to worry about.
I just love that card. Understated, classical and beautiful, absolutely beautiful.
Not good timing with the jab is it - out of your hands though - just hope you will be fine - I was, so fingers crossed (toes too).
Have a great wedding.
Hugs, Neet 6 xx

That's a stunning wedding card! So elegant! Best wishes for Saturday - hope all goes well. Of course, I'd love to swap with you - just found you on FB and sent a Friend request - we can exchange addresses in a private message. It's funny how you describe going to the dentist as an activity - for me it's torture LOL! See you later on FB and thanks for your visit! xx zsuzsa #22

Beautiful card Cindy, just lovely. No idea what Makes it LOTV leaning, but whatever, it’s just gorgeous. Am excited for you p, the wedding will be such a wonderful way to really break lockdown. A feast to look at, other people, love swirling about, and food. Perfection! I know what you mean about a week of things on each day, it suddenly feels very busy. Friday is my second jab AND and eye test, they are hours apart and I genuinely wondered how I’d fit everything I do on Fridays in on top of these two. And that would be....some cleaning!!!
