What's On Your Workdesk? Wednesday #734

Well hello there deskers, and this week I have the correct number in my heading, don't know where last week's came from!

Pleased to report that the hubster came up trumps and as of last night I my pc stuff is fully recovered and workable. In the end we bought an extremely cheap  refurbished 'box' - the correct word eludes me! - plus some ancient software and he finally got it all re-loaded. So far so good. I am still going to buy a new pc but this gives me a breathing space. I really did hate not having access to my files, I felt quite bereft this last week!! nyhoo, because hubby has been fretting in my workspace all week not a lot has got done so there's not much to show you.

This is the sample for this week's class. Not the most inspired but I'm amazed I achieved anything with the heat last week.

Enabled by the lovely Julia I succumbed to the allure of TEMU. Came pretty fast but boy that advertising is aggressive it never stops. Need to change a setting somewhere I think.

I know, I know, I'm not supposed to be buying anything. But such bargains. They look fine though I haven't tried the quality of the stamps yet. I obviously had steampunk in my head that week, who doesn't like a fairy, and I had mushrooms on my mind. The door? No idea what I was thinking I would do with that. The ballerina stuff was just pretty.  I also bought a T shirt and a dress I didn't have much hope for. Both are lovely and fit fine so overall pretty happy.

Anyhoo that's all I have to show this week. Now we are out of ridiculous heat I might get something done but one day without a blue sky and I'm already feeling glum. Have a good week.
Love n hugs
Cindy xx

Hooray for rescuing the tech, what a relief that you haven’t lost everything. Love the new stash, you have to have a little buy now and then. I’m really happy that the temps are lower, can’t stand the sun all the time, think I must have Viking blood or something, lol!

Glad your PC is up and running, nothing worse than having no PC is there? Well, certainly for us bloggers, especially the nosey ones who like to see other desks every Wednesday.
Love the card you made for class, colour, design the whole works.
Gosh that kite guy in Venice - what an interesting 'meet' that was. How lovely to be able to live a life like that, just bumming around enjoying yourself and seeing the world.
Take care and save those pennies for that new PC when you are ready but remember to back up your old stuff regularly.
Hugs, Neet 10 xx

Your husband is a genius. Nice save on all your files.

I love that manly card and I really like the gears. What fun. Gosh you got a lot of new products. I like that door die and the ballerina. Fairies are adorable, too. You got some good stash from that site, thanks to Julia. Cheap is always good (grin). Happy WOYWW from #1.

How funny you call your hubby The Hubster as well! And he sorts your tech problems like mine does for me. Handy, right? I also make him do all the TEMU ordering so I don't get all the ads LOL! Clever me. Your haul looks fab - very Lavinia-like some of them. The card is great too.
Happy cool and breezy belated WOYWW!

Brilliant hubster! And a fab card for the class which is veery impressive because having him in the room and the room being indoors and warm would not have been conducive to my creative streak!!im glad that you've had a good experience with Temu, super happy to hear that the clothes are ok too, I'm currently looking at a shower curtain!!

Oh dear I've logged on to the TEMU website as I was curious.....
A Tip-In in crafting is where you add an additional page to your journal or in my case Bible usually with Washi tape. I googled it and it can be quite a different thing in other circles! - don't go down there! So pleased your hubby sorted the PC, better back it all up whilst the going is good, although I am sure he has already. I was dying in the heat, certainly wasn't functioning properly at all. Love the card, my hubby's got gears too lol. Hugs BJ#13

Hi Cindy, sorry I'm a bit late getting back to you been to my mum,'s again today. The Balloon dog was a freebie from Stampers Grove when you bought other stamps by Carabelle. Apparently you can only get it at the Craft Shows when they attend. Lots of his customers want it but he can't sell it due to some agreement with Carabelle Studio so wheather it will come on the market some time I don't know but I do know that lots of people would like it. Hope that makes sense. If I see it available I'll let you know. Hugs, Angela xXx
