What's On Your Workdesk? Wednesday 651

Really quick post from me today as I have some pamper appointments to get to! Hair and nails are the order today after a lovely deep tissue massage to help my shoulder problems.

Here's the desk. The main activity this week will be Christmas card writing. Love seeing them ready to go but hate the job. Christmas tunes will be on and maybe a movie in the background.

I may have to forego the sherry and mince pie accompaniment as I am gonna try and do these during the day before I get tired ..... or maybe not lol.

Why am I showing you this? Well it's our weekly Wednesday Blog Hop - WOYWW. Here's the link to the one responsible, the lovely Julia at Stamping Ground - pop on over and join in, see what it's all about and have a go yourself. Have a good week whatever you are up to.

Stay well, stay safe, love n hugs Cindy xx

I was shocked to see a Vagabond on your desk, I honestly thought I was the only owner!! lol
Have fun making the cards, I usually type a 'newsy' letter to send out with my cards, just adding a handwritten greeting. I just wish I could find a gadget to take the complete postage stamp off its backing paper!!
Enjoy your week

Pamper appointments while I'm at the dentist! I bet your pampering is cheaper as well LOL! I don't like writing cards either - someone in our old neighbourhood started the craze and we felt obliged to reciprocate but each year it was such a hassle. It was a relief to move to be honest LOL. Have fun! xx zsuzsa #20

Here we are almost at the end of the day, Cindy, and you must be feeling sooooo pampered! I'm not jealous, honest I'm not:) I hope you've postponed the card writing - you'll just undo all the good work the massage has done. Have a great week. Elizabeth x #6

Hi Cindy, I'm late today as I went to the Opticians earlier and just got behind with everything. Christmas is going to be here before we know it and there's still plenty to do but your cards are looking good. Happy belated woyww, Angela x14x

Oh sherry is definitely the order of the day (I’ll have a whiskey please, too cold for gin…)it’ll help the card writing go so much quicker even if the end result is slightly garbled!! Hope your pampering did the trick and made you feel miles better!

I hope you enjoyed every minute of your appointments and that the massage has helped. Must admit, it made me wince a bit last time I had one, but it was overall a very good experience. Your right…having made the blessed things, I’m not brilliant about writing the cards…and yep, I need to get to them in the daytime or I get very sloppy and ‘that’ll do’ about them. I presume then that you’re ready to post on Dec 1st?impressive!

Those cards look ever so pretty and so jolly. I am still ploughing through making them and think I have been over ambitious with making ones that needed a lot of stamping. Thank goodness I have some plainer ones.
I have still to make my Christmas cake but that will need the big mixer, no longer can I stir like I used to. Think it will end up being bathed in spirit rather than having it brushed on for weeks. As long as it is moist.
Ooh, I'd love a massage - they do them at the chiropractors I go to but it is £45 for an hour and I am not sure I want a full hour whilst he sits waiting for me in the waiting room. I hope you have the most amazing pamper session - enjoy it, you deserve it after the way you work all year.
Hugs, Neet 2 xx

I had to laugh Cindy, when you said you don’t like to share. Neither do I 🤣. My dear grandchildren don’t get any of my precious stash. The Hunkydory pads are great for them because there are 6 of the same image and I usually buy some Christmas stickers for them. Also they get to use up any other stuff I no longer want/need. I have just looked up last posting dates for Australia and I do have time to send some, so a couple more cards to make. Have a great weekend.
