What's On Your Workdesk? Wednesday #712

Good Morning All!! Welcome to our weekly Wednesday Blog Hop - WOYWW. Here's the link to the one responsible, the lovely Julia at Stamping Ground - pop on over and join in, see what it's all about and join in yourself.

Another fleeting week - but a pretty quiet one although I did go to see Mamma Mia with my sister. Otherwise it has it has been a tad chilly and I haven't ventured far. I also managed to break my glasses so have been making do with an old pair whilst I wait for the new ones to arrive. They are not too bad except for the pc and close work - so forgive any typos when I visit!!

So here's my desk, with a cute card for a friend's grandchild.

My clothes dryer seems to be populated with lots of tiny pieces of clothing - yes DD is longing to get nesting and prepping but still no firm moving date for their house purchase. Fingers crossed we hear this week or I may have to start seriously thinking about implementing Plan B.  (Insert terrified face here).

That's all for me this week, hope to get a bit more crafting done when I can see a bit better. I have a ton of birthdays in February and March and still have quite a few to do.

Have a good week, love n hugs Cindy xx

You have just reminded me that February is not far away and I have birthday cards to do - still the same ones as they are for Club
Love the circular birthday card, I really should try to make some of these, such a great idea to patchwork the like this.
Hope the specs arrive soon and yu can see properly once more.
Hugs, Neet 1 xx

I smiled at the clothes hangar, blimey that brings back memories - Owen will be 30 soon and yet it only seems yesterday that he was that small. Tempus Fugit etc. Love the card for the 3 year old, bet that was a hit! What a pain about your specs, I’ve got a test for having soft lenses tomorrow, can’t wear gas permeable anymore cos of dry eye, damn.

Love that card for the little one - I bet that digger went down well. I hope you get your glasses sorted out soon, I'm adjusting to my new ones, didn't realise just how ineffective my old ones were - it's wonderful being able to see things clearly again!
Hope you have a great week,

Loving the digger card - excellent and on the patchwork backing too, love it.
My occupational glasses are essentially bifocals with reading and computer distance rather than reading and driving/long distance. They are newer than my day to day ones so the reading part is stronger which is great for crafting. I'm due some more day to day ones this year... I always get the same frames hence the confusion and ribbon requirement!
Aw baby clothes, love babies. Hope plan B isn't required! Hugs BJ#14

Great birthday card and thank you for sending me the info on the circle die. Sorry to hear about your glasses. They are so expensive to replace. Happy WOYWW Angela #12

Hope your washing dries ok and they can be folded ready for use.
Sorry to hear about your glasses, I keep several pairs dotted about the house as I am blind as a bat without glasses on.
Hope your new ones come soon

I hope your daughter gets settled soon and Plan B isn't needed! I hope the new glasses arrive soon. Thanks for visiting - I was surprised when I left work to find it had been raining today! I'll try and remember to test the die out to show everyone next week! Helen #2
