What's On Your Workdes? Wednesday #577

Wednesday again. Yep, weeks still flying and my only constant is WOYWW on a Wednesday. To find out more, pop on over to The Stamping Ground where all will be revealed. Join in why don't ya, check out what everyone is up to and spread a little love..

Hope you are all well. The Ashplant bubble is thriving and this week has been a good week. Father's Day was a highlight and the kids have something planned for our 35th anniversary next weekend. Should have been planning a party, although nothing could ever rival the surprise party my daughter threw for our 30th.  Memories.

As promised I have been doing just what I want to do this last week - craftwise at any rate. I have to admit I couldn't resist checking out WIP Box 4 - all under control, it looks very much like I have already visited there, very little to do and several class projects prepped.

I decided to support a crafty friend and take part in a FB live she was doing and it turns out what I wanted to do this week was get painty, so I have been mainly working on canvases and in my alphabet journal. However that is definitely a WIP - there are still a lot of letters to go! (If you want to see the other bits I made this week scroll down - yes, don't faint, I also managed a couple of non WOYWW posts this week, go me).

But I digress. Here's my desk. I'm working on another page. The letter prompt is C. I wonder if you can guess what this one is about. The paper with the postage stamp has a very special postmark on it which I'm hoping to include somehow. WIP.

Here's one I did earlier this week. It uses another of my own digital images that I found printed out in a folder and thought it was about time I used them. This page is H for 'Hope'.

And that's me for this week. I am dithering between moving onto bottle decorating, notebook making or starting on the NBUS. (Never Been Used Stuff - and you thought the WIPs were a big project).
Votes please.

Have a good Wednesday. Stay home if you can, stay well, stay safe.

Cindy xx

Now that's a nice dilemma to have, isn't it? Wondering which crafty project to attempt next....I don't know how you're going to decided! Love the pages you've done in your book already, the colours are great, so bright and cheerful!

Morning Cindy. Wow! Busy bee there! I confess I would do a mix of things... I NEED to have more than one project on the go at a time.... so probably would head off to WIP Box 4 and also the NBUS. Maybe something to do with my age and my distinct lack of concentration???
Take care. Stay safe. God bless.

Ooh, doing what you feel like doing is a very creative way to produce for you! I love the journal page but I cant guess the prompt, rubbish at that! Also enlarged to see the postage frank but of course, it pixilated. Double fail! I think its fab that your lovely children are cooking up a treat for your anniversary, ours cam and went without any fuss at all, should have made more effort. It was late MArch and I think we were in lockdown shock! I hope you have a terrific weekend then!

Now that is a true creative.... so many choices/idea/projects and soooo little time. Your journal pages are beautiful and what a good idea to capture this moment in time. Have a wonderful anniversary and keep on creating.

Hi Cindy - I love how marvellously bulky that book is and the colours in the rainbow page are so strong and bold. Lots of people seem to have their anniversaries - then again it's summer LOL - happy anniversary! zsuzsa #24 xx

Oooh Cindy, your pages are just gorgeous! I love the colours and the brilliant layouts. Thank you for your visit, and I'm glad you like the colour of the cardigan. It is certainly going to be worth the effort I've put into it once I can wear it, and hoping I can press it into shape. I'm sorry to hear that your poor old kitty had a bad turn last week and hope she's OK now. 18 is a very good age. We've never had one older than 17. It still feels strange, living with 2 youngsters after having 2 old ones for so long with their attendant health problems. We love our new/old electric fire in the sitting room and agree that it looks a lot better than the old gas one, and wish we'd done this when we first moved!

Happy WOYWW,

Right Cindy, NBUS has come top of my list. I hovered between that and books but decided that you have lots of books so NBUS came out on top. The reason bottles got sidelined was that they need displaying and if you are like me you have enough stuff to dust that is on display (or not dust as happens to stuff in my craft room).
Glad your bubble is working and best wishes for next weekend. Congratulations on 35 years.
Lovely journal pages, especially the one you showed in detail. I hope we get to see more as time goes on.
Hugs, Neet 8 xx

Hi Cindy, oh my thing has been NBUS lately so, I am glad to see I am not alone. :) I do a crafty booth at a local school once a year so, one of the biggest selling things I have are snarky things so, I don't actually have to have a person in mind for them. Or when I do not they go into the booth pile is what I mean. :) ~Stacy #32

I think that NBUS would be a great place to go next, Cindy. You could combine them with your fabulous alphabet journal for a few more pages maybe. Happy anniversary for the weekend! Stay safe and happy WOYWW. Sarah #7

Love that Hope Page!
I would go with the NBUS - that's what I have been doing or using some forgotten favourites. Because I am unpacking the stuff that has been in our shipping since January, it is easy to rediscover things!
Stay safe and well,
Happy Crafting!

Wow - you have been busy - such lovely crafty activity there. I'm hopeless at making decisions about next projects - hence I feel I am still waiting to think of something to tackle. I just need to be in the right mood! xx Jo

Hi Cindy, sorry for the late visit. I'm glad you explained NBUS - I had no idea what it was. I have to confess I have lots of it! I think you should start on that next, I think I will. An alphabet journal actually appeals to me, so long as I could do it in any order. I shall keep my eye out for a suitable sized journal. Happy anniversary for next weekend, and have a lovely week in the meantime, Heather xx #15

Ohmy, you've been busy! I love the Covid/Corona page ('cause that's what it is for "C", isn't it? And now I am wondering if I myself have 'NBUS' stuff somewhere... I don't think so, or it must be empty books ready to fill as journals... oh well, I hope that whatever you choose to do, you had/have fun! Thanks for visiting my blog earlier this week, sorry I'm late with my visit back to your blog but finally time fell into place with my mind, yay! Have a great weekend, hug from Holland. Marit #28
